Focus On Operational Technologies
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, WATER MUSEUM
Barbadinhos Steam Pumping Station
RUA DO ALVIELA 12, 1170-012 LISBON
EPAL organized the FOCUS ON OT conference dedicated to one of the most critical and current topics in our sector: the resilience and continuity of essential services in the digital era, with the partnership of CIONET and the European project ATHENA.
The conference, which had around 80 participants gathered at the Barbadinhos Steam Pumping Station – Water Museum, was a unique opportunity to share knowledge, debate solutions and reinforce collaboration between all the different parties interested in the safety of our critical infrastructures. Only through joint commitment will we be able to guarantee the resilience and continuity of essential services for society.

In recent years, the water sector has faced growing challenges, driven by climate change, pressure on water resources and the need to modernise critical infrastructure. In this context, Operational Technologies (OT) have emerged as key players in guaranteeing the resilience, security and efficiency of the systems that underpin water supply and management.
